The Islamic Information Centre has been established to fulfill a vital need- that of delivering the light of Islam to our nation.

Subsequent to the dramatic events of September 11, 2001, there has been a global interest in what Islam is about. One of the core functions of the centre is to refute the misconceptions regarding Islam that exists in the minds of the people. That Islam is truly a peaceful religion, and more so a holistic way of life, has been one of the key messages conveyed.

The centre provides accurate and authentic information about Islam to the people of South Africa.
